BeOS? What's that?

Nothing. Be, Inc. is gone, BeOS's technology is now the property of Palm, Inc. I don't use it anymore. I understand there's a movement afoot to get it opensourced, although apparently a ton of proprietary (ie other people's) code would have to be torn out of it, so the opensource people would have months or years of work to put it all back together. I truely don't see this happening, and I've been so disappointed, strung along, and outright lied to about this OS (mostly by Be, Inc itself) that I no longer care. Color me a born again MacOS X user.

So what's on this page?

Just some little programs. Calling them "applications" grossly overstates them. And some links to better BeOS pages.

• Simple Blackjack Just a simple class project that happened to recompile and run on BeOS. It plays blackjack. No gui, no curses graphics, no graphics at all, just plain old terminal blackjack. It splits. It doubles down. It handles multiple players. Have fun. Compiled under 4.5.2 Intel. Should compile and run on PPC. Click here for the PPC version.
• TelnetScript Woo! updated!A tiny (125 byte) shell script that lets you hook your web browser up to terminal telnet. Drop it wherever, then point the part in your browser's preferences section where it asks for your telnet application at this script. Now titles your window intelligently.
